About Miles Automotive

Miles Automotive is an auto repair shop in St. Petersburg, Florida. It is listed at 2736 9th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713, which places it among the local businesses of St. Petersburg that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In St. Petersburg, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Florida vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (727) 323-0180. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 122 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. My husband & I used Miles as our mechanic about 30 years ago. They always gave us excellent service The only reason we stopped going to them was we started leasing our cars & all maintenance was covered at our dealership. Had to buy a second vehicle ecently. Took my car in yesterday for a break job I'm please to say the same quality service was given to us. Miles is a family owned shop. They are very professional & friendly. I would highly recommend Miles. They are good and most importantly they are honest. Never do unnecessary work. Glad to be back with you guys Mike & Todd. You guys rock. Update on above review. I took my car to have my turn signal, rear view mirror replaced for both had broken off. They also installed a car camera which turned out to be a lot more labor involved then originally thought. Once again Miles came through for me. THEY ARE EXCELLENT. Listen people of TAMPA BAY if you don't take your car to Miles Automotive there is something wrong with you. Miles Automotive is the BEST AUTOMOTIVE shop in TAMPA BAY AREA. Thankyou Mike & Todd. As said before YOU GUYS ROCK

I had an excellent experience at miles automotive! They were professional, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what was going on with my car and didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need. The service was fast, the pricing was fair, and the quality of work was top-notch. My car runs better than ever. I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable auto care!

I'm so happy I found Miles Automotive. I had difficulty finding a reliable mechanic in St Pete. Everytime I go I am sure I'm getting the absolute best quality work at a very honest price. They're quick, friendly, and always a pleasure to work with. If I could rate them a 10 out of 5 I would.
